Top 10 National Homebuilder K. Hovnanian Homesis Hiring We are currently seeking talented and career oriented Sales Consultants, Sales Trainees, Sales Hosts/Hostesses and Community Construction Managers; (all levels of experience) for multiple opportunities within Northern Virginia.
FT Sales Consultants (Experienced): Minimum of 4 years Sales Experience in New Home Sales. Your dynamic personality turns browsers into buyers As a Sales Consultant at K. Hovnanian, youll be the one to spearhead new home sales within our dynamic team.The Sales Consultant will learn all products, sell homes and secure contracts. In addition, the Sales Consultant will follow up on prospective customers, maintain the sales database, present products to customers and shop the area competition. The ability to provide the highest level of customer service, including exceptional communication skills :: both one:on:one and in front of large groups, is a must. Good computer skills are necessary. Successful candidate must maintain a valid drivers license.**Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening hours is required.
FT Sales Trainee (Entry Level/Mid Career): Minimum Bachelors Degree with 2 years General Sales Experience; excellent communications and time management skills are required. A Realtors License is NOT required. We will train you to become a New Home Sales Consultant. In this role, you will be mentored by an experienced Sales Consultant and learn how to create interest, follow up with prospective customers, transfer knowledge of our homes and the market, secure contracts and interact with our construction management teams. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow your career in the new home sales business.**Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening hours is required.
PT Sales Host/Hostess (Entry Level): Minimum 1 year Customer Service, Sales, or Administrative experience in a Professional setting is required. Working approximately 27 hours per week; the Sales Host/Hostess will assist the Sales Consultant in achieving monthly sales goals. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting and welcoming prospective homebuyers to the community, scheduling appointments, collecting all pertinent information from visiting traffic, and inputting that information into our database. General clerical duties will also be assigned.**Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening hours is required.
FT Community Construction Managers: The Community Construction Manager will serve as the Companys representative at the worksite in dealings with subcontractors, suppliers, customers and government inspectors while ensuring compliance with all federal and state procedures and regulations. Manage the homebuilding process from receipt of building permit to closing of the sale and ensure building code, environmental, safety compliance and the quality specifications of the Company and its customers. Manage trade partner execution of contract obligations. Track the home costs against original estimates as construction progresses. Ensure that contractors and vendors perform on schedule and within budget through monitoring and updating construction schedules so homes are delivered on time. Proactively identify and mitigate reoccurring construction issues. Train others in established Company safety and storm water procedures and work with subcontractors to ensure compliance with federal and state safety and storm water procedures and regulations. A bachelors degree university plus 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and/or education. Valid drivers license required. Supervisory skills necessary.
