Long Job Description :: 584 - WAREHOUSE/PROPERTY CONTROL SUPPORTPosition summary:Support MCNOSC’s mission in order to maximize the organization’s operational and defense capabilities and readiness. Provide an integrated support system for all organizational activities for IT and non IT supplies and services and functional capabilities. Primarily support Warehouse and Property Control within the Supply and Informational Technology Asset Management (ITAM) branch.Tasks:* Provide support services in the MCNOSC supply environment which consists of approximately 600 users and the movement of approximately 1,0 pieces of physical gear annually to support those users. Such gear includes but is not limited to laptops, desktops, routers, switches, cables, etc. * Provide daily support for the incoming and outgoing of gear, stored and/or staged in, received by and/or shipped from a MCNOSC warehouse to ensure gear is received by end users in a safe manner and on-time. All equipment must be logged into the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS). * Obtain disposition instructions and turn-in excess/unserviceable equipment as required, when necessary. Inventories must be conducted semi-annually and property must be turned in or received on lateral transfers from DoD Property Control offices and Marine Corps Base Property Control Offices, Marine Corps worldwide. * Ensure the utilization of equipment authorization policies and procedures (Marine Corp Order xxxx.150E) as they directly relate to the requisitioning and accountability of non-expendable property. * Identify and track all MCNOSC hardware, software and the associated licenses in BMC Analytics. * Assist in the coordination and turn in of equipment to the local Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO). * Assist in the coordination and turn in of equipment to the local Distribution Management Office (DMO) for shipping. * Prepare all Government created shipping documents for equipment leaving the facility in accordance with established Supply Branch procedures (Attachment 1). Track and report all shipping costs. * Attendance and punctuality are critical to this position. * Perform other related duties as required.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required as well as 5 years of related experience. Forklift license required to operate a forklift up to 5,0 lbs. at the Government’s request. Requires 2+ years experience providing IT Asset Management support to include Life-Cycle data, warranty/maintenance tracking, ITAM Remedy Console, and DPAS supportMid-level knowledge of BMC Remedy; Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3); and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) concepts, practices, and procedures.Security Clearance:Applicant must currently possess a SECRET clearance.
