Production Supervisor - CVS (Fredericksburg, VA) in Fredericksburg, Virginia For Sale

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to: Experienced warehouse professional to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of up to 40 warehouse union employees. This position will coordinate with various departments to ensure the DC productivity consistently meets and exceeds daily performance expectations. She/he will have daily interactions with employees and will be expected to consistently display ethical behavior at all times. Schedule and assign work to employees. Provide necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks. Determine proper staffing levels within functional area based on the volume and type of work to be completed daily. Maintain a balanced workload by taking readings throughout the day, and by readjusting the staffing levels, as necessary, to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion. Monitor the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded. Provide ongoing training/retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function. Possess the ability to utilize a variety or reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday. Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Professionally address issues with employees, fellow supervisor and Managers utilizing the proper resources. Operate in a safe, neat, and orderly manner. Frequent overtime required, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule. Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years supervising a warehouse 5+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience PC Knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree preferred Prior union environment experience is a plus. Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
