Outsource is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer. Job Description: Outsource is in need of DAS technicians for a contract position ASAP in Triangle, VA! The work consists of:Installing wireless electronic systems including cell site equipment, Distributed Antenna Systems, small cells, cabling, antenna and other peripheral equipmentInstall DC power equipmentTest circuits/facilitiesConduct site acceptance proceduresUnderstand and follow all applicable safety codes and procedures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Translate diagrams, installation manuals, floor plans and methods of procedure into a properly installed and working productWork efficiently while maintaining high qualityRun a variety of cable including coaxial, CATV, fiber optic and power to NEC standards at customer job site, Properly attach connectors to cable endsEquipment bolt down, Equipment power up Requires:Good work ethicCertified working on a lift is preferredAbility to follow directionSome cabling / telecomm experience preferredHave basic toolsMust be able to comply and follow job site rulesPrevious DAS experience a plus - pulling 1/2" cable, terminating using compression JMA type connectors & installing antenna's a plus
