Adoption fee for is Cats-$55.00, which will include spay or neuter and 1 year Rabies vaccine which will be done before the cat leaves the shelter if the cat is over 16 weeks. If the kitten is under 16 weeks, the adopter must live in Spotsylvania county.
All adoptions are based on a first-come first-serve basis on the day the cat is available. You must be at least 18 years of age and provide a current ID. Most of our animals are strays and we can only guess by observing the behavior of the cat in the cage and interaction by the shelter staff, whether they are good with children.
